RidgeCircuit autumn twilight heat on the Las Condes outdoor track

Autumn twilight heats return with cooler asphalt and longer evenings

From mid-March through early May, RidgeCircuit Karting brings back our autumn twilight heats for a limited seasonal run. We open selected grids after 6pm when cooler asphalt helps tyre temperature settle more evenly, finish each twelve-lap package with a timing printout when the system is online, and keep the same marshal spacing used in daytime sessions so first-time evening drivers are not rushed. The format sits on the pit board at CLP $11,490 for twelve laps, and you can book it as a walk-up heat, a reserved pair, or part of a small group grid inside our Las Condes calendar. If you prefer a quieter start, ask the desk to place you toward the back of the opening lap when you register.

We choose evening windows that still leave enough daylight for a clear briefing and helmet check rather than packing heats into full darkness. Karts are inspected between releases for brake feel and belt tension, then staged so excess wait time does not cool the engines unevenly. Soft briefing cards cover flag meanings again for guests who only visit after work. Marshals warm up the first two wagons with a parade lap when the track has been idle, then release the timed heat so drivers get grip without bitter cold patches in the hairpin. The goal is an autumn evening that feels of Santiago’s cooler months without feeling heavy after a weekday schedule.

Pair a twilight heat with a free timing printout and a short photo stop at the start line for a simple autumn outing that works well for friends meeting after work on Valenzuela Puelma.

Availability depends on weather and how many evening grids we can staff each day. When the board says the twilight format is on, we usually have enough karts for early and late slots the same evening. Corporate challenges for small office teams can be booked with at least forty-eight hours’ notice by emailing [email protected] or calling +56 9 4807 3142. We list height guidance for junior frames at the desk; please tell staff about first-time drivers when you book so we can place appropriate spacing. Prices and package sizes may adjust if fuel or maintenance costs change, and the pit board always shows the current figure before you pay.

How we run the twilight format

Every RidgeCircuit session starts with a marshal walkthrough so drivers know braking zones and restart rules. Timing screens are checked before the first evening heat and reset between groups. For the seasonal format we keep the lap count at twelve rather than stretching into endurance length, which helps guests who arrive after work finish before the last registration window near 20:40. Sport upgrades remain available for CLP $3,500 when the sport lane is open. Extra heats can be added from CLP $6,900 if the grid still has space. Families often choose this format alongside a junior intro earlier in the afternoon when height guidance allows.

Booking, arrival, and group tips

For reserved twilight windows, give us a call earlier in the day during quieter hours and a little longer on Friday evenings. Open track still runs from 10:00 to 21:00 on days we are open, with last registration near 20:40. You can check whether your preferred evening slot is covered by calling the desk before you travel. Helmets are cleaned between busy blocks so wait times stay predictable. If you are bringing a group, combine the twilight heat with a standard daytime twelve-lap package from the Sessions page so everyone has a choice without waiting for a second full grid cycle.

We expect the autumn twilight run to pause once early May daylight and cooler mornings shift the board. Follow News for the next seasonal format, or join the Race alerts list in the footer for occasional hour and offer updates. We booked a twilight heat for Friday evening and the cooler asphalt felt great after the briefing. The timing slip helped on the drive back to Providencia when we compared sector times. Next time we will add a sport upgrade as you suggested in the article.

Glad this format is back. Last year’s twilight grids were a favourite for our small office outing — the reserved window held up well after work.

Thanks Tom — corporate grids need about forty-eight hours’ notice so we can hold enough karts. Email [email protected] with your headcount and preferred evening window. Sport upgrades and timing printouts stay the same as the retail twilight heat so the format matches what you had last season. If anyone in the group prefers a quieter start, note that in the message and we will place them toward the back of the opening lap. Larger office challenges are limited to reserved evening slots; otherwise a weekday afternoon family grid is the simplest option. We can include junior matching if you want a mixed-age set for the team.

We booked a small corporate grid after reading this and the reserved window was smooth. The karts felt evenly prepared and not rushed between heats. Will try the family grid on a weekday next.

Called +56 9 4807 3142 to confirm a twilight slot near Valenzuela Puelma and the desk was clear about the last registration window. The heat started on time; timing slips were still printing. We will book again before the May cut-off while the format lasts on the board.

Asked for a quieter start as suggested and it suited our first-time drivers. Nice seasonal option alongside a classic daytime twelve-lap heat for sharing the evening.
